Yes, it is. Since we receive payment as a representative, there's no charge to you for our services. 100% free!
Why can't I purchase a health insurance plan directly from Hygeia without the need to go through Transfer Me Health?
Yes, you can. However, there are benefits to using our services. We can help you to know your needs and can ensure you purchase the appropriate type and amount of insurance. The buying experience through Transfer Me Health is more personalised and focused and even after you purchase a health insurance plan, we can further assist with policy updates, modifications, and renewals. Always remember, UKC Health is an official agent for Hygeia and our service is 100% free so take advantage!
What does Transfer Me Health do?
We provide an easy, safe and informative platform with product recommendations for Nigerians living abroad to purchase health insurance plans for their family, friends and community members living in Nigeria.
Do you have to be a Nigerian living abroad to purchase a health plan?
No, you don't. You can be based in Nigeria and still purchase a health insurance plan via our platform.
What is telemedicine?
Telemedicine refers to the provision of remote healthcare services anywhere across Nigeria, via real-time two-way communication between the patient and the doctor, using a mobile phone.
What if I don't see a health insurance plan that caters to my needs e.g. family of eight?
Please contact us and we will work with Hygeia to tailor a health insurance plan for your specific needs e.g. family of five, seven or even ten. No enrollee is left behind!
Can I purchase less than five healthcare insurance plans for my family or firends?
No, you can't. You have to purchase a minimum of five healthcare insurance plans.
Can I purchase less than 20 healthcare insurance plans for a local community?
No, you can't. You have to purchase a minimum of 20 healthcare insurance plans.

What do you do with my information?
We pass your information to Hygeia as part of the application process, once you agree to move forward. You can read more in our privacy policy.
What is an enrollee?
An enrollee is an eligible person(s) who is enrolled in a health insurance plan.
Your prices are in Naira, can I pay with an international credit or debit card (e.g. dollar, pound, yen etc)?
Yes, you can. Hygeia accepts payments with international credit or debit cards. Also, they accept money/bank transfer as well.
Does Transfer Me Health accept payment?
No, we don't. All forms of payment are made directly to Hygeia
If there is an issue with my health insurance plan purchase, who do I contact?
We can connect you with the appropriate person at Hygeia and and he/she can directly help you.
Is Transfer Me Health a Government entity?
No, we are not. We are a privately owned service.
